Benny Stivers
March 30, 1940 — January 3, 2015
Benny Stivers, age 74, died January 3, 2015. Benny was the owner of Bennys Auto Repair Shop in Lonoke. He served in the Army National Guard and was a Past Master and 32nd degree Mason. Preceding him in death are his parents, Melvin and Cleo Stivers; one brother and two sisters. He is survived by his wife Doris Tate Stivers; sons, Eddie (Diane) Stivers and David (Cathy) Stivers of Lonoke and Michael (Mary Beth) Stivers of Cabot; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Martha, Sue, Opal, Linda, Tommy and Hubert.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 5 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 6 at Brownsville Baptist Church with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
