Carroll “Pat” Farmer, 81, of Lonoke, Arkansas, was rejoined with his wife of 35 years on Monday, February 14, 2022. He was born October 14, 1940, to the late Wilbur Farmer and Ruby Golden of Humnoke, Arkansas.
Pat married the late Charla (Tubbs) Farmer on November 29, 1960, and had three children: Sherri Stoner, of Lansing, KS; Charles “Chuck” Farmer, of Lonoke; and Jena Farmer, of Belton, Mo.
Pat was a man of many talents and skills. He began his career serving in the Navy’s Construction Force known as the Seabees. After his time in the Navy, he continued a career in construction and eventually obtained his commercial driver’s license. He ran a gas station and mechanic shop in Humnoke for a few years before returning to the trucking industry as an owner operator.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, siblings, Billy and David Farmer, and two grandsons, Evan Sullivan, and Joseph Farmer.
He leaves behind his three children, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Crossroads Church in Des Arc, with service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial with Honors will be held at Hamilton Cemetery.
