Benita Pauline Williams, 83, of Lonoke, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, March 16, 2025. She was born June 16, 1941, to parents Jessie and Homer Ethel McMullen, in New Albany, Mississippi. She spent her adult years as a homemaker and nurse’s aide at Golden Manor Nursing Home in Lonoke. She attended East Side Baptist Church in Lonoke and served as nursery attendant. She enjoyed her books, her soap operas, but mostly being surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Curtis; her son, Teddy; brothers, LeRoy, Ben, Damon, and Robert McMullen; and sisters, Bessie Whitt and Doris Hutchinson.

She is survived by her children, Donna (Gary) Norwood and David (Patricia Ann) Williams all of Lonoke; her sisters, Barbara Eddins of Fort Smith, Hazel “Neva” Strickland of Gloucester, VA, and Lola Crumpton of Memphis, TN; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Arkansas. Visitation will be held one hour before services at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow going to Weedon Cemetery in Lonoke.
