Bettie Kidder

Bettie L. Kidder, age 85 of Lonoke, Arkansas passed from this life on October 18, 2021 surrounded by family.

Bettie was born on May 30, 1936 in Lonoke, Arkansas to Delmar and Edna Bettis.

She was a proud Lonoke Alumni Class of 1954.

Bettie was a hard working lady with determination like no other. After many long years of employment, she retired from Remington Arms.

She enjoyed gardening and always shared their abundance of vegetables with neighbors & friends.

One of her favorite times was working in her yard with her many flowers.

She enjoyed spending time with her grand and great grandchildren, most always with camera in hand. Bettie was an active member of Smokey Lane Apostolic Church for more than 40 years. She was always willing to help others. God & family were her priority in her life.

Bettie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Pastor Royal Kidder & a special bonus daughter Renee "Kidder" Pack.

Bettie is survived by son Wayne "Tinker" Smith Jr. (Jo) of Mayflower, daughter Debbie King (Kenneth) of Cabot, sister Marie Davis of Jonesboro, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a niece, a nephew & a host of family & friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 23rd at 1:00pm followed by a celebration of life at 3:00pm at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, AR

Interment will be at Lonoke Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Lonoke Animal Shelter in which Bettie had a big heart for.
