Betty Lakey

Betty Sue Lakey, (88) born January 11, 1932 walked into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday April 10, 2020. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to dote on her great-grandkids. She loved spending time with family, watching her birds, and singing gospel music. She will always be remembered by her strength and love. Betty is proceeded in death by her father and mother Arlis and Lois Pettigrew, brothers Gene and John Pettigrew, sister Hilda Frost, and great-granddaughter Mackenzie Paro. She is survived by sister Bonna Johnson, her 7 children Lonnie Lakey (Debbie), Karen Walker, Vickie Trimble, Dickie Lakey (Susan), Olen Lakey, Kathy James(Darryl), and Judy Davidson(Joe), 13 grandkids and 23 great-grandkids.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that you spread kindness and the Word of God.
