Brandon Kyle O’Bannon, 30, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on August 30, 2022. He was born on July 15, 1992, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Kevin and Jeanina O’Bannon.
Brandon was a very competitive athlete who played sports his whole life. He became a proud marine veteran who served our country. No one was ever a stranger for long because he truly had a heart of gold and cared about everyone. He loved country living and anything outdoors, but especially loved his Irish heritage. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and grandson. He was a momma’s boy and adored his meme and papa. Family meant everything to Brandon, and he will be missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jeanina Carol O’Bannon; maternal grandparents, Colon and Emogene Tipton of England, Arkansas; and paternal grandparents, Murl Myzell and Martha Sue O’Bannon.
He is survived by his father, Kevin O’Bannon; siblings, Joshua (Charlene) O’Bannon of Lonoke, Arkansas, Courtney O’Bannon of Lonoke, Arkansas, Meredith (Shawn) Smith, of Lonoke, Arkansas, and Mackenzie Cotner, of Lonoke, Arkansas; long-term girlfriend, Marissa Chapman, of Jacksonville, Arkansas; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; beloved dog, Charlie and cat, Jack Sparrow; along with many friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Lonoke Baptist Church with burial to follow at Wattensaw Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00PM on Monday, September 5, 2022, at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Arkansas.
