Bryce Allen, Sr.

SSGT Bryce Allen, Sr. of Jacksonville, age 77, passed away August 4, 2015 at Elmcorft Assisted Living in Sherwood.
His mother Bessie Paradise, father, Joe Allen and brother Frederick Paradise preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his passing, two sons, Bryce Allen, Jr. and Dexter Allen; one daughter Robin Allen; two sisters, Bearnell Ross of Hazen and Susia Simmons of Chicago, Illinois; brothers, Johnny (Shirley) Allen of Little Rock, Robert (Melvina) Herron of North Little Rock, Frank (Sandra) Paradise of Little Rock, Jimmy Singleton of Pine Bluff; grandkids; a personal friend Earnestine Wooten and a host of other family and friends.
He was a faithful member of St Paul Missionary Baptist Church, was a 1959 graduate of Carver High School; was a veteran of the US Army where he served two tours of duty in Vietnam and one in Korea. After leaving the Military Army Reserve he was in the Civil Service.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 11 at St Paul Missionary Baptist Church, arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Visitation, Monday, 6-7 at the funeral home.
