Catherine Cotton Davis was born on November 25, 1927 to the union of the late Merle and Susie Cotton.
She was united in holy matrimony with Herman Davis who preceded her in death in May 1985. She departed this life on May 10, 2013 while residing in the Lonoke Rehabilitation Center at Lonoke, Arkansas.
To this union seven children were born; Dino Davis of Los Angeles, California, Barbara Davis Jones of Jackson Mississippi, Andre Davis of Little Rock, Kathy Davis (Vance) Chambers, Verna Davis Freeman, and Jamie Davis all of Jacksonville, and Vanessa Davis of Lonoke.
Their legacy of life is left to 26 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memories a host of special friends from the Lonoke Rehabilitation Center.
Momma Davis was feisty and frank, you knew where she was coming from at all times and she always had a good story to share until her health bean to fail in 2003.
She will be dearly missed by us all.
Visitation, 1-5 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Little Rock National Cemetery. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
