Rev. Charles R. “Chuck” Watson, 80, passed away Saturday October 7, 2017. He was born January 9, 1937 in Lonoke, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents Floyd Watson and Della Kaiser; his son, Ricky Watson; and his loving wife, Nadean “Dean” Watson; and brother, Herndon Watson. Left to cherish his memory are: son, Randy (LaVonne) Watson; daughter, Robbie Watson; son, Ronnie (Rhonda) Watson; six grandchildren: Jeffery (Brittney) Watson, Stephanie (Marc) Hemme, Jennifer (Will) Littig, Shannon (Chris) Soller, Kyle (Jessica) Watson, and Kevin Watson; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wilma (Wayne) Croy and Pat (Mike) Dunger; two sister-in-laws, Leta (John) Sims and Ruby Spencer, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He served in the Air Force and was a bi-vocational Baptist preacher. Chuck, as he was known, worked for ABF thirty-two years until his retirement. Besides spending time with family, he loved to build and fly remote control airplanes, raising a garden, bluegrass music, and travel. He never met a stranger and loved telling them about Jesus, whom he is now with. Miss you, Daddy.
