Clyde “Boe” Munnerlyn, Jr. born October 1, 1928, died August 8, 2013 at Baptist Health in Stuttgart, with family at his side.
After a diagnosis of cancer on May 5, 2009, he never questioned why, but when would he be cured. Boe acquired acreage over the years and completely cleared the land to be put into crop production. Also, he enjoyed horses, cows and dogs along with hunting and trail rides.
Boe is survived by his wife, Peggy Hollanger Munnerlyn, whom he married October 27, 2006; a grandson Randy (Christine) Munnerlyn who gave Boe so much pleasure in watching him farm and make improvements on the farm; a son Ronny (Sally) Munnerlyn; daughter Diane (Roger) Beedle; additional grandchildren, Rachel (Lester) Fleming, Taylor Ramsey and Rodney (Andrea) Beedle; great-grandchildren, Christin and Cameron Munnerlyn, Karrison and Drake Fleming, Peyton Beedle, Peggy’s daughter Valerie (Tony) Davis and their children Ty and Carlin Davis; siblings, Gladys Merritt, Opal Cole, Virginia Pace and Doyne (Linda) Munnerlyn; numerous nieces and nephews as well as several who considered him “Uncle Boe”.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11, at Hamilton Baptist Church, with burial in Hamilton Cemetery.
