Danny Ray Adams passed away in his home on Friday, November 29, 2019 in Lonoke, Arkansas at the age of 71.
Danny is survived by his loving wife, Rita Peterson Adams; daughter, Katina Adams; two grandchildren, Danny Williams and Darla Williams; brother, Tommy Adams; two sisters, Linda Adams and Ann (Adams) Winchester, all of Lonoke, and a host of friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Adams, step-mother, Odel Adams, mother Margret Wade, step-father, Fred Wade; two brothers, Donnie and Sammy Adams.
Danny was born on February, 29, 1948 in St. Charles, Arkansas. He began working for the Highway Department as a foreman, a position he held for more than 35 years until his retirement.
He was an accomplished hunter and fisherman and passed his love for the outdoors to his grandson Danny. He was a gregarious individual who loved people and always had a ready smile for anyone he met.
A visitation will be held 6-8 PM Tuesday, December 3rd at Boyd Funeral Home, and the funeral service will be held at 1PM, Wednesday December 4th, at the First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Bishop Joel Holmes and Pastor Nathan Holmes will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Danny's life.
