Earnestine Whittenburg

Almer Earnestine (Gibbins) Whittenburg, 96, of Carlisle passed away Monday May 18, 2020.  She is survived by her daughter Patsy Knight (Brig), her son Edgar Charles Whittenburg (Loretta), and daughter-in-law Betty Whittenburg 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, brothers Earl S. Gibbins Jr. , Joe Gibbins, Vancie Gibbins, and sister Sarah Hawthorne and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Leslie (Bill), her son Billy, and her grandson Scotty.

Earnestine was a loving mother. Her nieces and nephews called her Aunt Tinnie, and enjoyed spending time with her.  She loved hunting and fishing, and family celebrations.
