Edith James

Edith C. James, 79, of Lonoke passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019. She was born in Carlisle, Arkansas, May 5, 1939. She is preceded in death by her husband, William H. James. Edith and her husband, William owned and operated the Travel Mart in Lonoke for 20 years. Edith also worked for Walmart and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Keith James and wife, Scarlett; 3 grandchildren, Richard Wayland, Mindy James, Walt James; 5 great-grandchildren; nephew, Brad Cool and numerous cousins. Visitation will be at Boyd Funeral Home, Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at Boyd Funeral Home, Friday, April 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Carlisle Cemetery.
