Edna Bradberry Floerchinger Partain

Edna Bradberry Floerchinger Partain, 80, of Lonoke, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024.   Edna and her twin brother, Edgar, were born November 6, 1943, to Oather Greene and Celestia Henretta Bradberry of DeWitt, Arkansas. In 1962, while working at a local diner, she met Jack K. Floerchinger, formally from Oxford, Iowa. The two were instantly smitten with each other and married not long after.   They were part time crop surveyors together. Edna and Jack had 21 years together and welcomed 2 children but sadly Jack passed away in 1983. Within a few years she met and married Mr. Marion Partain from Carlisle and the two were married for 30 years when he passed away in 2019.  Edna had a true love for the Lord and felt the calling to share that love and appreciation with everyone, especially her family. She always had her bible to read and prayers to be said.  She was an avid gardener, enjoyed all her plants, flowers and being outside.  Edna’s truest passion was her family and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Edna was a longtime employee and bookkeeper of Riceland Foods and retired from there after 33 years.  She was a proud graduate of Lonoke High School class of 1961.  

She was preceded in death by both her parents, Oather and Celestia Bradberry, husband, Jack Karsten Floerchinger, second husband, Marion Partain, her twin brother, Edgar Wilbur Bradberry, brother Oather Greene Bradberry Jr. of DeWitt, Arkansas.  She is survived by; son, Chance and Billie Sue Floerchinger; daughter, Callie and Jeff Tidwell; stepdaughter, Debbie and Bob Boterson; Grandchildren, Shelby Perrow (Travis), Derek Floerchinger, Drew Floerchinger (Talyn), Colton Tidwell (Haven), Jacob Tidwell (BreAnne), Bo Tidwell; and 10 great grandchildren, all of Lonoke, Arkansas.  

Visitation will start at 9:00 am with funeral service starting at 10:00am Wednesday, March 13, 2024.   Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
