Emma Woolsey

Emma Ruth Karr Twisdale (Woolsey) 87, formally from Stuttgart, AR, passed away August 27, 2021, in Little Rock, AR, surrounded by her family. She went home on the wings of angels.

Ruth was born on May 24, 1934, in Pottersville, MO. She married LeRoy Twisdale on December 28, 1952, in Las Vegas, NV. She loved her family and was a blessing to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lamech Irad and Eva Melissa (Collins) Karr and David and Loretta Karr Allen; husband LeRoy; siblings, Phyllis Helms, George Karr, Jimmy Karr, Butch Griffith and Ruby Graham, and grandson Levi Twisdale.

She is survived by her children LeRoy (Diana) Twisdale of Cabot AR, Ted (Jeannie) Twisdale of Branson MO, John Twisdale of Ward AR, Ruthie (Archie) Ayers of Hazen AR, and David (Denise) Twisdale of Searcy AR; grandchildren, LeRoy Twisdale V, Ricky Twisdale, Brandie Keithley, Nicky Hodges, Taylor Twisdale, Charles Wyatt, Forrest Loffer, Adam Ayers, Andrew Ayers, Amie Ayers, Katelyn Chesley, Adam Salvagni, Christa Salvagni, Rachael Jacinth, David Twisdale, Jr., Dalton Twisdale; Twenty nine great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren; siblings, Cheri Elder, Gary (Sue) Karr, Susie Allscheid, Larry(LaRose) Karr, Eva Thomas, sister in-law Shirley Mattsson, as well as numerous family, friends and loved ones.

A visitation will be held Sunday, 4:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. August 29, 2021 at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, AR. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 at Boyd Funeral Home.
