Ernest Eugene Weare

Ernest Eugene Weare, born November 5, 1939 went to be with his Lord on December 2, 2023.
He is predeceased in death by two infant daughters; parents, Ruby and Edgar Weare, and a sister, Ethel Weare Thannisch.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jane Lofton Weare, many relatives and friends.
Ernie was a graduate of Lonoke High School, Harding College, University of Central Arkansas and University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He did his post graduate work at the University of Southern Mississippi and Delta State in Cleveland, MS. He was involved in secondary education in Fayetteville, AR., Colombia, MS., Clarksdale, MS., and Cleveland, MS.
He later retired to Sherwood, AR where he attended the Mayflower church of Christ.
Through the years his interests included woodworking, bird hunting, fishing, showing Vizsla Sporting Dogs and Tennessee Walking Horses. This allowed Jane and Ernie the pleasure of traveling in their RV all over the United States.
A private graveside service is planned for a later date.
