Fay McArthur Brown, 75, of Lonoke, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. She was born March 26, 1939 in Clarendon, Arkansas.
Mrs. Brown was retired from a variety of occupations, from operating a café in DeValls Bluff with her mother to being a long time assistant to Dr. B.E. Holmes in Lonoke. She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing and spending time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jess Brown, III and brother, Doug McArthur. She is survived by son, Alan Jamison of Fayetteville AR; daughter, Beth Ernst of North Little Rock AR; son, Joe Daniels of Lonoke AR; sister, Freida Sims of North Little Rock AR; sister, Kathy French of Albuquerque NM; brother, James McArthur of Wimberley TX; grandson, Jon Jamison of Springdale AR and granddaughter, Cristy Daniels of Lonoke AR. Mrs. Brown is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
