Gloria Green

Gloria Jean Green, 81 of Lonoke passed away on May 24, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Will Green. Survivors include her son, Greg (Michele) Green of North Little Rock; daughter, Michele Llewelyn of New York; granddaughter, Jessica (Zach) Thomas of Texas; and brother, Dr. Donald (Janet) Willett of Massachusetts. After being born in El Dorado, AR, she was raised in several locations across the United States and graduated High School in Venezuela.  She then attended college at Southern State University, Magnolia where she met her husband Will S. Green, a.k.a Coach Green, and began her teaching career in Bearden and Tuckerman, ultimately making Lonoke home.  She taught for over 40+ years, business education and sponsored the Lonoke FBLA, Newsletter and Annual Staff.  She loved her career, students and the faculty she worked with.  Her love for family and dedication to church will not be forgotten. A come and go visitation will be held, Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 4-6 PM at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Face coverings are required for all persons present, with the exception of children under the age of 10 years.

Due to the Covid-19, the family will be holding a private funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, we ask donations be made to Lonoke United Methodist Church or Alzheimer's Association.
