Jowel “Joe” Lathan Barnes, 85 of Lonoke, died on August 19, 2013. He is survived by his children Barbara Monroe, Douglas Barnes and Terry Barnes all of Lonoke, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, siblings Pete Barnes of Missouri, Lin Barnes of North Little Rock, and Earlean Mancell of Lonoke. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel with visitation beginning at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
