Kameron Elizabeth Johnson Shafer, 41, of Cabot, Arkansas passed from this life July 27, 2020 into the arms of her beloved Daddy.
She is survived by her two children, Payten and McGuire Shafer; mother, Janice (Tony) Dodson; step-mother, Debbie Johnson; three brothers, Jeremy (Carrie) Jarrett, Ben (Morgan) Dodson and Shawn Dodson; nephews, Ethan, Evan and Niko; grandparents, Gail and Clova Abshier; uncles, Greg Johnson, Shelby Johnson and Mark Johnson and many beloved cousins. Kameron also leaves behind her two best friends of 30 years, Kasi (Matt) Ellis and Jennifer (Scott) Nickerson. She is preceded in death by her father, Barry Johnson and her maternal grandparents.
Kameron was extremely outgoing and never met a stranger. She always had a smile and a joke for everyone she met. Kameron had a passion for teaching and loved each and every one of her students. She always put others first and enjoyed helping people in their time of need with her many talents of cooking, sewing and crocheting. She had a love of music, dancing and singing. The one true love of her life was being a mother to her two beautiful children. Her entire world revolved around her babies. Memories of Kameron will be cherished by everyone.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lonoke County Safe Haven Outreach Center.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Boyd Funeral Home, 207 East Second Street in Lonoke. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 3, 2020 at New Life Church, 3400 W Main St in Cabot, Arkansas.
