Katherine “Kay” Conley passed away October 15, 2021, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born February 18, 1938, in England, Arkansas to the late Roy Lee and Pearlie Parker Bates.
Kay was a resident of Furlow and was raised in Lonoke, Arkansas. She was retired from environmental services at Baptist Hospital.
Kay enjoyed dancing and spent her weekends at Hanks Station in Jacksonville. The infirmities of old age are now lifted, and her legs renewed and is dancing to tunes of her brothers and brother-in-law Roy, Lindsey and Walter’s Heavenly Band.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Conley; brothers, Lindsey, Roy Jr., and Carroll Bates; sisters, Dorothy Willis, Evelyn DePriest, Helen Myers and her twin, Maxine Wallace.
She is survived by her sons, Danny Eades of Texas, Randy Ross of Mabelvale, Arkansas, and Dallas Standridge of Dover, Arkansas; grandchildren, Matthew Eades of Texas, Ashley Ross and Joshua Jackson of Maumelle and Ashleigh Deason and Meranda Prindle of Dover; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Caton of Little Rock and Shirley Bumpas of Beebe; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Sumner Cemetery in Cabot, Arkansas.
