Kathy Jennings, age 66, left her earthly home on November 9th after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Kathy was a devoted mother to her daughter, Laura, and grandmother to her grandson, Joseph. She had one son, Billy, who she dearly loved and greatly missed since his passing. My prayer is that they are now reunited, both free and unbound from all earthly chains. My mom had a love for chocolate and Diet Pepsi. If given the choice to visit any place in the world, she would quickly choose her home state of Arizona. She loved Winslow and the desert and the peaks of Flagstaff, but no physical place on earth made her more happy than standing on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Kathy leaves behind a beloved family in Arizona.
I wish to extend my utmost gratitude to the staff at Arkansas Health Center for the endless walks my mom took them on and loving her so well just where she was. My mother was a believer in Jesus Christ, so today, let us celebrate a life made whole and a race run with endurance till the very end. I love you momma.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Arkansas or a charity of your choosing.
