Kenneth E. DeViney of Lonoke, age 74, passed away March 12th, 2022 in his sleep.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Kenneth was born in Des Arc and graduated from Lonoke in 1965. He worked at Nuway Grocery while still in High School, then Jacuzzi Brothers of Lonoke, Jacuzzi Brothers of Little Rock, Remington Arms, Orbit Valve, and Midsouth Pumps, also known as J-Line Pump, later known as American-Marsh Pump Company of Tennessee.
He was proceeded in death by his father Charlie S. DeViney, his mother Fannie Littie Elisabeth DeViney, brother Charles DeViney, sister Vivian DeViney, sister Mary Lue Rogers, sister Laverne Baker and infant sister Martha Lue DeViney.
He is survived by his wife Duanna J. DeViney of the home, son Bill D. DeViney (Denise) of Lonoke, daughter Jo Lynn Rutledge (Dabnei’) of Arizona, daughter Launa Loftis Morris of Tennessee, son Joey L. Loftis (Melissa) of Nevada, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke with a visitation beginning at 1pm.
