Leslie T. Nakasue, born February 16, 1945 died peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by family on November 22, 2021. Les was a Godly man, loved the Lord and his family, especially his kids and grandkids. They were his pride and joy. Les was a retired military veteran. He served two tours in Vietnam. He earned an Army Achievement Metal, two National Defense Service Metals, Armed Forces Reserve Metal, Vietnam Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He is preceded in death by his parents Natsuo and Sumie Nakasue; brothers, Richard and Tom Nakasue; son, Jeremy Randall and infant grandsons, Colin and Trey Campbell. Les is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Pam Nakasue; son, Darren (Angel) Nakasue of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters Noreen Nakasue of Anchorage, Alaska and Stephanie Campbell of Lonoke; granddaughters, Brittany Campbell (Lucian), Andrea and Ysabelle Nakasue; great-granddaughter, Paisley Woody; brothers, Clyde (Diane) Nakasue of Hilo, Hawaii and Owen (Eden) Nakasue of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters, Colleen (Sal) Ray and Cynthia (Wes) Unoki, both of Hilo, Hawaii and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Morgan Sauer and the staff at Baptist Health Hospice Care for the excellent care given to our husband, dad and papa in his final days. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on December 1, 2021 at Steel Bridge Baptist Church in Lonoke. A burial will follow at 1:00 pm at Arkansas State Veteran Cemetery, 1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120.
