Lillie Dickerson

October 14, 1939 — February 9, 2018

Lillie Dean Dickerson, 78, of Lonoke passed away Friday, February 9, 2018.  She was born October 14, 1939 in Wayne County, Tennessee to Ella Mae Dickerson and Isaac Coosenberry.  Lillie was preceded in death by husband Floyd Edward Dickerson, parents, daughter Nancy Coats and grandson Henry Bivens, Jr.  She is survived by son Tommy Bivens, daughter Hazel (Ken) Sullivan, son Henry Bivens, son Paul Smith, daughters Ann Franklin and Mary (Billy) Guajardo, brother Doyle (Aline) Coosenberry, sisters, Bonnie (Kenneth) Reeves, Shirley (late Jim) VanDiver, Susie (Doug) Danley and Ellen (Willie) Spears, twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren with one on the way and no great-great grandchildren.

In Lillie’s younger years she enjoyed fishing and county car rides on a sunbaked road.  Tending to her flowers became a regular past time.  However Lillie wasn’t too fond of dirtying her hands.  Lillie could always spare time for thrifty shopping and bargain hunting at flea markets and various stores.  Most of all, Lillie truly treasured visits with the family.
