Linda Sue Anderson, 75, of Lonoke, Arkansas, passed into the arms of her Lord January 27, 2025. Linda was born June 6, 1949, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Frank and Duretta Todd. Linda graduated from Ole Main High School in North Little Rock. She married Fletcher Anderson, Sr. on August 15, 1989, and remained together until his passing in May of 2022. They enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and gardening but mostly just being together.
Linda worked in the medical field as a receptionist, patient counselor, and admissions clerk until 1989. In 1989 she retired to a homemaker. She never met a stranger, found joy in helping others and was a proponent for the underdog. She loved the Lord and looked for opportunities to witness her remission and recovery from lymphoma. She was an avid bingo’holic at the Moose Lodge and local VFW.
She is preceded in death by her husband Fletcher D. Anderson and her parents, Frank Todd and Duretta Riggins Todd.
Linda is survived by one sister, Debbie McCaghren; 2 son’s, Charles “Chuck” Dale (Kristi) Stroud Jr., John Anderson; daughter, Teresa Nash, Stepchildren, Nancy Brooks, Shirley West, Fletcher "Danny" Anderson Jr. , Lourie (Mark) Simpson, Tracey Sullivan, Grandchildren, Rebecca (Cory) Miller, Michael Nash, Christy (Doug) Ray, Rae Ann Brooks, Jennifer (Joel) Ruff, Chad Cauley, Nicole (Kenny) Stivers, J.R. Polk, Jamie Polk, Tara (Malvin Thomas) Stevens, Charlene Cole; Great grandchildren, Noah Miller, Triston Ray, Gabriel Ruff, Isabel Ruff, Greyson Cauley, Avery Beth Cauley, Raven Wright, Fletcher Stivers, Harmony Thomas and her fur baby Suzie Anderson.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lonoke. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke, Arkansas.
