Malcolm Wayne Ballard, 67, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away August 8, 2021. He was born October 2, 1953, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Harvey Lee and Mary Elizabeth Ballard.
Wayne worked as a forklift mechanic for years in Memphis. After moving to Greers Ferry, Arkansas, he started his own business and continued until retirement. Wayne loved cooking for family and friends and would have numerous BBQs at his home. Wayne had such a big heart and would help anyone he could.
Although he struggled with Dementia the last four years until his death, he is now walking the streets of gold in heaven and is whole again.
He is survived by his wife, Terry Ballard; children, Jerry (Sabrina) Ballard and Vanessa (Johnathan) Wayne; grandchildren, Kayven, Asher, Oliver, Aria and Johnathan; brother, Harvey “Skipper” (Deborah) Ballard; sister, Linda (Brian) Alford; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Walters Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will follow the service at the cemetery until 1:00PM. The family ask that everyone in attendance please wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Home Care, 2200 S Bowman Rd, Little Rock, AR 72211.
