Marjorie Teston

Marjorie "Margie" Alice (Keas) Teston, 89, of Furlow, passed away peacefully on September 10, after a long and fulfilling life.

She was born on July 2, 1935, to Elwood and Florence Keas of Los Angeles, California. Margie spent her early years in Los Angeles then moved to Graeagle, California, to the family-owned vacation property, Feather River Park Resort. After graduating from Portola High School, she earned an associate's degree in nutrition from the College of the Sequoias. Margie married Vernon Teston in 1957. The couple had three children: Lisa, Michael, and Donnalee, then moved to Little Rock. Margie worked several years at Baptist Memorial Hospital in North Little Rock. She was active in church life at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Little Rock and later at Concord United Methodist Church. After retiring to Furlow, Margie always tried to bring out the best in her family and friends and enjoyed doting on her cat, Sneakers. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her as Nana. 

Margie was preceded in death by her daughter, Donnalee (Teston) Griswold. She is survived by her husband, Vernon Teston; daughter, Lisa (Teston) Benisvy, and her husband, Howard and their two children, Chloe Teston Benisvy and Rachel Benisvy; her son, Michael Teston, and his wife, Alicia and their two children, Blaine Teston and Brenna Teston; and the husband of her daughter, Donnalee (Teston) Griswold, Bobby Griswold; and their daughter Lucy Griswold.

A service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 28, at the Concord Methodist Church in Furlow, followed by a graveside ceremony at the Concord Cemetery.
