Martha Sue Henderson, 81, died February 3, 2013. She was born October 10, 1931 to David and Hazel Wright in Carlisle, Arkansas. She is survived by her children, Mike Henderson, wife Debbie, Sandy Swicegood, husband Bill, and Bryan Henderson; grandchildren, Beverly Frank, Jimmy Burris, Laura Wilkins, Michael Henderson and Jarrett Fitts, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Walter Henderson and son Keith Henderson, also preceded by her siblings, Rose Luberski, David Wright, John Wright, Alice Wilder and Mary Duke-Jones.
Martha was a gifted seamstress and an amazing cook. Our mother was not only beautiful on the outside but the inside as well. She loved her family and always put them first in her life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and Christian lady. She taught us all so much and we are so fortunate to have had her in our lives.
We miss her now and will forever miss her.
Visitation, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 5 at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
