Melba Jean Mitchell Lilly, 94, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away on May 28, 2021. She was born on April 4, 1927 in Lonoke County Arkansas to the late Barney Madison Mitchell and Alice Maneriva Beard Mitchell.
She worked as an administrative assistant for Farmers Home Administration and was a lifelong member of Lonoke Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Miles Monroe Lilly; four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her two sons, Miles Ray (Susan) Lilly and Robert Mitchell (Susan) Lilly; grandchildren, Mitch Lilly, Crystal (Tyler) Swearingen; Katie Ann (Jeremi) Henderson, and Robert Ross (Allison) Lilly; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Lonoke Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lonoke Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00PM on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Arkansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lonoke Baptist Youth.
