Minnie Isola Chivers , (94) born October 6, 1922, to Walter and Lola Archer, in England, AR, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan, her parents and seven siblings. She is survived by two daughters, Janet Henderson and Becky (Mike) Wilson of Lonoke, one son, Danny Chivers (Barbara) of North Little Rock. Minnie, aka, GG is survived by granddaughters, Melinda Spakes (Scott), Millicent Stanley (Phillip), Leigh Ann Horton (Derek), Melanie Potter (John), Danielle Adams (Donnie) and Amanda Shephard, one grandson, Clint Chivers and 10 great grandchildren, Arianna, Sara Beth, Jaden, Jarah, Ella Grace, Landri, Stone, Andrew, Evan and Jalon. She is also survived by one sister, Norma Jean Morris and one brother, Kenneth Archer(Linda). Minnie loved to sew, cook, sing and have fun with her family. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. followed by 12:00 p.m. funeral service on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Steele Bridge Baptist Church, Lonoke, AR, followed by burial at the Lonoke Cemetery.
