Morris Nellum
December 18, 1962 — June 27, 2017
Morris Nellum, born December 18, 1962, to the late Alberta Nellum and Paul Nellum, passed away on June 27, 2017. He accepted Christ at New Zion and later united with St. Mark Baptist Church.
He graduated valedictorian of the Lonoke High School Class of 1981. He was an avid football player in high school and continued his passion for the sport at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where he obtained a BA in Industrial Engineering. His commitment to public service led him to pledge Omega Psi Phi, Gamma Eta Chapter.
He is survived by wife: Cassandra Nellum; Daughters: Laketra Hicks and Chenita Pettis; Grandsons: Payton and Colin Hicks. Father: Paul Nellum, Brothers: Leeo, Robert and Ray Nellum. Sisters: Essie Johnson, Odessa Jones, Norma Curlett, Alice Rufus, Paullester Walker and Louise Scott.
Omega Omega Service will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Friday, June 30, 2017,
