Oliver Brown

Oliver Lee Brown, 80, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away January 18, 2023. He was born in Brownsville, Arkansas on November 6, 1942, to the late Chester Lee and Bessie Brown.

He retired in 2008 as a machinist and toolmaker from Remington Arms in Lonoke. He loved spending time outdoors, cutting and splitting wood, sitting around the firepit, tinkering with things, and feeding the raccoons. He had great sense of humor and always had something funny to say to bring a smile or laugh to those around him.

Along with his parent he was preceded in death by his daughters; Loretta Lee Siegler, Beverly Shannon Langston, and Sandra Elizabeth Brown; granddaughter, Lindsay Hassenstab; and brother, Jimmy Brown.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Sandra Brown; daughters, Ellen Pair (husband Bill Pair) and Amanda Golightly (husband Matthew Golightly); 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Brownsville Cemetery, Lonoke, Arkansas.
