Omas "Dick" Moore

Omas Clemons “Dick” Moore, age 87, born January 15, 1927 to Omas Clemons and Winnie Lee Watson Moore of McCrory, died August 29, 2014. He was a member of Hazen First Baptist Church, US Army Air Corp Veteran, a member of the Masonic Lodge and a retired insurance and car salesman.
Survivors include his wife Virginia Westerfield Moore; son Ross (Brenda) Moore of Lonoke; daughter Robin (Chuck) Lewis of Carlisle; step-daughter Lynda (Don) Hood of Conway; grandchildren, Josh (Erica) Moore, Jordan (Rikki) Moore, Scarlett Lewis and Mitch Lewis; sisters, Freda Warnock and Syble Bates of Hazen. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 51 years, Maudie Jewell Moore, and sisters, Eloise Bracken, Mildred Osborne and Bonnie Gibson.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 1 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 2 at Lonoke Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
