Patricia Jones

September 13, 1963 — August 25, 2017

Patricia Ann Jones “Pat” was born September 13, 1963 in Little Rock, AR to the late Lillie Dodson Scott and Nathaniel Scott. She was the beloved wife of 33 years to her grade school sweetheart, Efrem Zirl Jones Sr.  On August 25, 2017, she went to be with the Lord after a battle with colon cancer.

Pat accepted Christ and was baptized into the Church of Christ at a young age. She was a faithful member of Brown Street Church of Christ for 25 years. Pat was a dedicated employee at Pruett’s over 25 years. She was known for her extraordinary culinary skills and lovingly provided a good meal to many.  In her spare time she enjoyed shopping, line dancing, and most of all spending time with her family, especially her husband.

Her proudest moments were watching her children Latoya, EJ, and Tashalla grow into adults. Her six grandchildren were the joys of her life. She made sure her children and grandchildren needs were met and they never went without lots of love.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband: Efrem, daughter: Latoya (Anthoni) Criner, son: Efrem Jr. (Monica) Jones, and daughter: Tashalla. Grandchildren Lamaya, MaLiaya, BriLeigh, KiLynn, Adilyn, and Efrem III “Tripp”.  Brothers: Kenneth (Mae Willis) Scott, Nathaniel Scott Jr. (Joyce), Tommy Scott (Andrea), sisters: Stephanie Pennister (Ernest), Lashay Townsend (Laron), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Brown St Church of Christ. A Homegoing Celebration will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2 at Palm St Church of Christ in Lonoke. Repass will follow at Studio 318 Jacuzzi Ln.
