Peggy Sue Bewley

Peggy Sue Bewley, 79, of Scott, Arkansas, departed this world on March 23, 2024. Peggy was born August 24, 1944, in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Peggy was married to the love of her life, Eleck Bewley, for fifty eight years. She spent her time attending church as a member of Palm Street Church of Christ, listening to music, crocheting and reading.

Along with her parents, Jim and Emil Blackard, she is preceded in death by her infant daughter Laura Ann; brother, Tommy Franks; and sister, Carol Ann Scott.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Eleck Bewley; son, Jim Lynch, of Alexander, Arkansas; daughter, Tina (Dan) Wright, of Mountain Home, Arkansas; brother, Craig (Pam) Blackard,of Lonoke, Arkansas; sister, Mary Moore, of Lonoke, Arkansas; half-sisters Rita Chamblee, of Fulton, Mississippi, Margie Pennington, of Saltillo, Mississippi, and Nina Johnson, of Wesley Chapel, Florida; sister-in-law, Kathy Franks, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Shanna Lynch, of Cabot, Arkansas, Rachel Wright, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Farrah Wallis of Bryant, Arkansas, along with a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

An interment at Pinecrest Cemetery, in Alexander, Arkansas, will be held at a later date.
