Phyllis Ann Watson, 75, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away on August 26, 2023. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 20, 1948, to G.A. and Louise Pinson.
Phyllis loved being “Nannie” to her grand and their friends. They were always welcome at her house. She attended many of their recitals, ball games and anything they were interested in. She was a great support system.
She loved to have fun with family and friends. We have great stories to confirm this, please ask to hear one. If you wish to hear her favorite song, we all can sing “The Carlisle Alma Mater”.
Phyllis was a beautician in Lonoke for many years at Wanda’s Beauty Shop. She loved doing this because she got to see and talk to her friends.
To honor Phyllis, please hug someone and tell them you love them, then have a piece of chocolate and drink a glass of sweet tea (her favorite things).
She is preceded in death by her father, G.A. Pinson; husband of 56 years, John Ford Watson; son, John Ford “Johnie” Watson II; daughter, Kimberly Watson Royer; brothers, David and Kenneth Pinson; and father-in-law, John O. Watson.
