Richard "Pete" Elliott

Richard “Pete” Elliott, 97, of Mayflower, Arkansas passed away August 30, 2023. He was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas on April 28, 1926, to the late James and Mary Elliott.

He was married to the love of his life for 66 years. He had a love for horses, gardening, and blue grass music. He provided for his family through Elliott carpet service, Inc for over 50 years and serviced his community as an ordained minister since 1977.

Along with is parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Faye Elliott; sisters, Omagene Elliott, Mablelea “Elliott” Roberts, and Mackie Teal; brother, Earl J. Elliott; and son, Jimmy Elliott.

He is survived by his children, Larry (Pam) Elliott, Terry Elliott, and Cindy (Mike) Patton; grandchildren, Gwen (Kevin) Sullivan, Jeremy Elliott, Jessica (Matt) Sutterfield, Christopher Patton, Andrew Patton, Angela Patton, Hannah Elliott, and Parker Elliott; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Johnny and Robert Elliott; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other family.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Boyd Funeral Home, 207 E 2^nd St, Lonoke, Arkansas, with burial to follow at Cato Cemetery.
