Richard Sheffield Loretz, 80, of Lonoke passed away December 5, 2013. He was born September 1, 1933 to Joseph Owen and Blanche Bouttier Loretz in Huntington Beach, California. He was engaged in farming and ranching in addition to a 42 year career with Union Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, travelling and playing with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 60 years LaNan Long Loretz; a son, Ricky Lynn Loretz of Benton; daughter Tomilea Loretz Baldwin of Austin, Arkansas; also considered as a son, Troy Dillon of Lonoke; grandchildren, Gene Scott Loretz, Brandy Richard Loretz, Joseph Tyrel Dillon and Treva Lea Dillon; great-grandchildren Joanna Loretz and Avery Loretz and a brother-in-law Robert (Hattie) Long of Des Arc.
