Robert Millard

Robert D. Millard, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away May 11, 2023, at the age of 83.  He was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on March 13, 1940, to the late Thomas Tipton Millard, Jr. and Helen Davis Millard.

Robert spent his childhood and teenage years in Harrison, Arkansas.  He attended his freshman year in college at the University of Arkansas, transferring to Arkansas Tech in Russellville, where he graduated in 1961, with a BS degree.  He spent 2 years working for AP&L, now Entergy, before beginning a long and successful agent career with Farm Bureau Insurance in Lonoke while raising his family in Carlisle.  He was an agent for 42 years, in which almost 20 years he served as Lonoke County Agency Manager, eventually retiring in 2011.

Robert was preceded in death his parents; grandparents, Tom and Ann Millard and Al and Flora Davis; and brother, Thomas T. Millard III.

He is survived by his wife of over 55 years, Kathy, of Little Rock; two sons, Tip (Ellen) of Columbia, MO, and Chad of Little Rock; and 5 grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Arkansas from 4:00-6:00PM on Friday, May 19, 2023.  A graveside service will be Friday, June 9, 2023, at 2:00PM at Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison, Arkansas.
