Robert Lynn Nellum, born February 28, 1961 to Rev. Paul and (the late) Alberta Nellum; he was called home on July 20, 2019. Accepting Chirst early in life at New Zion Baptist Church, he later united with St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Lonoke. He served as a member of the Mass Choir and the Brotherhood Male Chorus, he also severed as a prior Sunday School Superintendent.
In 1979, he graduated from Lonoke High School and went on to pursue a career in trucking. As a long haul trucker, Robert visited most of the continental USA. Later he became a self employed entrepreneur in landscaping and carpentry.
Robert was a caring, fun loving and joyous person, who never met a stranger. He enjoyed family, friends and loved, really loved to sing!!
Loving memories will be carried on by his remaining family, dad- Paul Nellum; daughters- LeEssense (John) Sexton and Karis (Adam) Rogers; sons- Christopher (Jenea) Manuel & Adrian Shaw. Grandchildren-Benjiamin & Braxton Sexton and Christopher Manuel Jr. Brothers- Leeo (Mary) Nellum, and Collins Ray Nellum; Sisters – Essie Johnson, Norma (John) Curlett, Alice Rufus, Paullester Walker and Louise Scott; and a huge host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates and friends.
