Shirley Trickey

Shirley Ann Trickey, of Carlisle, passed away March 4, 2022 surrounded by her family.  Shirley was born on May 12, 1943 to Henry Lloyd and Clotine Munnerlyn in Carlisle, Arkansas.

Shirley was a longtime member of the Lonoke Baptist church.  She enjoyed gardening, deer hunting and was always willing to assist her husband Leon, in building and designing houses.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four siblings and great grandson Walker Neal Trickey. Left to cherish Shirley’s memory, her husband of 60 years, Leon Trickey; 1 daughter Cindy and David Harmon of Alexander; 3 sons, Mark and Kim Trickey of Benton, Carey and Lori Trickey of Judsonia, Jon and Allison Trickey of Lonoke; 4 brothers, JC and Mary Munnerlyn, Orval and Phyllis Munnerlyn, Ronald and Paula Munnerlyn, Linville Munnerlyn; 1 sister, Geneva Cole and 16 grandchildren.

Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, March 8 at the Lonoke Baptist Church with a visitation preceding the service at 10:00am.  Burial will follow at Brownsville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Women at Lonoke Baptist and Arkansas Children’s Foundation Cleft Team PO Box 2222 Little Rock, AR 72203.
