V. Rufus Walker, age 62, born January 30, 1953, died January 25, 2016. He retired from the Paper Mill in Ashdown after 23 years. Survivors include Vanassa Walker of the home; children, Tobi Plantz, Jeremy Irvin, Allie Walker, and Taylor Walker of the home; stepchildren, Darin Bell and Kristian Buchanan; brothers, Ronnie Walker, Donnie Walker and Rickie Walker; sisters, Debbie Brotherton and Judy Wilson; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. and Mrs. James Walker and stepson Dayne Bell.
Family and Friends visitation, 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Boyd Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 29 at New Testament Missionary Baptist Church.
Committal Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at Old Piney Cemetery in Lockesburg, Arkansas.
