Virgie Burgess

Virgie Mae Burgess, age 77 of England, Arkansas passed away June 14, 2018.

Virgie was born in Missouri on October 29th, 1940.  She is survived by her husband Sonny of the Home; two daughters, Patricia Hankins (Anthony Stephens) of Lonoke and Ginger (John) Schmidt of Texas; one sister, Eunice Sanderson of Mississippi; eight grandkids; and 14 great-grandkids; nine nieces and nephews; a special best friend Joyce Butler, and a host of friends and relatives.

She is preceded in death by her son John Burt Burgesss and grandson Daniel Thrasher.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Saturday, June 16 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Caney Creek Baptist Church with interment following at Hicks Cemetery.  Online guestbook, www.boydfuneralhome.net
