Wayne B. "Tinker" Smith, Jr.

Wayne B."Tinker" Smith Jr. of Mayflower left his earthly body on August 16, 2023. He was born on Jan 30, 1956 in Carlisle, AR.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bettie (Royal) Kidder and Wayne B. Smith, Sr.; his grandparents, Delmar & Edna Bettis, and Buford & Verda Smith.

He is survived by his wife Jo Smith of Mayflower; sister, Debbie (Kenneth) King, of Cabot; brother, Doug (Karen) McDowell ,of Milan, MI, and a host of nieces, nephews and family.

Tinker was a graduate of Lonoke High School, and an Eagle Scout. Tinker enjoyed life as a simple man. He was a roofer & carpenter by trade, and very talented. He loved to fish, hunt, play chess, and play piano. He was easy going and always kind to others. He loved animals especially his dog Ms.Too.

A Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Lonoke Cemetery. Visitation will start at 10:30 AM, prior to the service.
