Wineford Hicks

Wineford Louis Hicks, of Carlisle AR, age 88, passed away on December 25 ^th 2016 at 11:35am. He was born in the Hamilton community on June 26, 1928 to the late Henry Louis Hicks and Rosie DonaLee Smith Hicks.  Wineford is preceded in death by his wife Catherine Skipper Hicks, son Louis Nelson Hicks, brother, William Robert Hicks, and a sister Alice Adolphine  Hicks.  He served his country in the US Army, and returned home to work in the Lumber and Hardware industry for several years before he decided on a career in the Restaurant Business, around 1969, and continued there until his retirement. He is survived by his adopted son Steve C. Hicks of Conway AR; nephew Robert L Hicks, nieces Cindy Hicks Boyles of Conway, and Debbie Hicks Kluck of Arkadelphia. A family and friends visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Thursday at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
