Floyd Cole

January 15, 1932 — September 14, 2014

Floyd Clifton Cole, 82 of Lonoke passed away on September 14, 2014. Clifton was a SP4 in the US Army for 9 years where he served in the Korean Conflict, a retired business owner of Cole Bail Bonds, a farmer and several other business. He was a member of the American Legion for 59 years and also a Jaycee.  His favorite hobby was fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents Homer and Willie Whitaker Cole, sons Leland, Gary and Mark Cole, granddaughter Brittany Cole and son-in-law Bruce Harlan Sr.. Survivors include his wife of 59 years Clara Parsley Cole, daughter Jeanne Cole Harlan of Blytheville,  daughter-in-laws Carolyn Cole and Debbie Cole of Lonoke, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Robert (Betty) Cole of Lonoke, sister Shirley (Arthur McGraw) Roland of Wright, best friend Jessie Nellan of Lonoke and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Lonoke Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. www.boydfuneralhome.net
