George Edward Carter, age 84, died August 9, 2013. He is survived by his children, Jimmy (Elizabeth) Carter, Shirley (Eddie) Witonski, and Larry (Pam) Carter; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren, and a brother, Lonnie (Teresa) Carter. Preceding him in death was parents Edward and Mattie Shipp Carter; his wife Lois Murlene Carter; sons, Ronny, Randy and Terry Carter; and a brother, Milton Carter.
Visitation, 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 12, at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 13 at Hamilton Baptist Church with burial in Hamilton Cemetery. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
