Martha Oliver

Martha Fletcher McCrary Oliver, 88, of Little Rock, died December 24, 2014.

Martha was born on October 30, 1926, to the late Preston H. and Edith Fletcher McCrary of Lonoke. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 25 years, Earl L. Oliver; her daughter Marijean Oliver Voss; and her three sisters, Anna Eugenia “Gene” McCrary Arrington, Edith McCrary Walker, and Marian McCrary Hamilton.

Martha is survived by one daughter, Martha Ann Oliver Lowe of Little Rock, and a son-in-law, Mike Voss of Mayflower. She is also survived by three grandchildren and their spouses, McCrary “Mac” Lowe (Shannon) of Tulsa, Doug Voss (Lee Ann) of Greenbrier, and Martha Lowe Huff (Clark) of Maumelle. Additionally, Martha was the proud great-grandmother of Fletcher, Carson, Preston, and Miriam Lowe, and Mason and Preston Voss. She was dearly loved by her family and friends.


Martha attended Lonoke High School, and she graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.S. in Business. She was a retired homebuilder, and she was the mother of two daughters, Martha Ann Oliver Lowe and the late Marijean Oliver Voss. Martha traveled extensively in Israel, she was an avid Razorback fan, and she loved fishing. Martha was actively involved in the lives of her grandchildren.


In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church, 304 S. Center St. in Lonoke. Burial will follow at Lonoke Cemetery. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
