Ruby Perkins

Mrs. Ruby R. Perkins left this life to be with the Lord on December 29, 2014. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Fred Perkins of 50 plus years,  and five brothers and one sister.

She is survived by one son Virgil Gann of Carlisle and one daughter Frances Barber of Phoenix, Arizona.

She leaves behind a long legacy of two sisters and one brother; eight grandkids, six great-grandkids and six great great-grandkids.

She was a member of Snake Island Community Church.

Ruby spent most of her live in Forrest City running a restaurant called the Ribeye. She moved back to Carlisle after her husband passed away and lived the remainder of her life there.

Ruby loved to go and visit people . She and her granddaughter Alpha “ Beth” Lane traveled as long as she was able.

The family wll receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 30 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31 at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery, Forrest City. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
